Pics from Greek Festival...

I somehow wasn't able to get the pics into the last post from the Greek Festival...so here they are...

Hey and Bye...(13 monhts)

Nicholas is now saying "hey" and "bye". The other night I was hanging up talking to my friend and I told her bye...he repeated "bye!" So, his official words now are: NO, hey and bye...and of course "thank you" (than thoo)

He also very much enjoys running now. He runs and is still trying to keep from falling. Sometimes he falls on the floor and has a look like "how did I get here?!" He gets right back up and keeps going! He also tried to climb in the bathtub on his own the other day.

We went to the Greek Festival Sept. 17th and Nicholas liked moving to the Greek music. We also took a tour of the church which had a beautiful mural. He enjoyed seeing it!

First trip to library!

Nicholas went to the library for the first time on 9/11/2011. He enjoyed it a lot! He had fun playing with puzzles and we checked out 18 books!

Nicholas is 13 months today!

Nicholas has been into a lot! He LOVES my cell phone! When I take it from him he has a fit and if I place it on the kitchen table where I think he will forget about it because it is out of view, he will get on his tippy toes to look for it and then cry because he cannot get to it.

Just two days ago he spent 8 minutes putting a pouring cup and a cube from one his sorters into the mailbox of his little house. He put these items in every which way he could, would shut the mailbox and open it to start all over again. I should have gotten a video of this, but of course whenever I pull out the flip recorder he comes up to it and wants to take that too!

Nicholas' favortite toys right now are: my cell phone, the remote control (good thing I mostly watch BRAVO as most of the time I have no idea where the remote is and have to manually turn on the tv), an empty water jug, and an empty formula container.

The words he is saying are: dada, mama, No (his first official word), thank you (pronounced than thoo), and bye. He is walking, running, and knows how to stomp his feet and march in place!

I have posted photos from his official 1st birthday photo shoot! These were shot at the Governor's Mansion grounds. He did a spectacular job and I think the photos are going to turn out great! More to come soon!

Welcome to Nicholas's Blog!

I will be posting photos and updates about Nicholas here!
